I...I have free Internet connection in my apartment. I am using Thomson/Alcatel speedtouch585 ADSL modem as AP since I had one available. I just configured modem to be a bridge, DHCP off and WLAN on with normal security settings allowing connections. Modem is connected to apartment building's network from one of its four ethernet ports and probably gets IP from building's DHCP.
